We have teamed up with Oonas Divers to offer this 7 night holiday in the amazing Red Sea and experience the richness and diversity of marine life in this incredible coral reef, where more than 1100 species of fish have been recorded!


For unqualified Freedivers
The Course and the Holiday: We have only a limited number of spaces on our holiday in which we offer our AIDA 2 Star accredited course (2 days). We do have a limited selection of Freediving equipment available for students (further information on request)

The Holiday
Your 7 nights will be spent in "Ecolodge - Shagra Village". The village is situated opposite the famous Elphinstone Reef and has its own outstanding house reef with incredible marine life and an excellent variety of hard corals. Many nocturnal fish congregate here to feed, allowing for excellent night diving. The bay is shallow, approximately 10 meters in depth, and slowly drops as it reaches the outside walls which are 40-50 meters in depth. Perfect for new and experienced divers! The village is located 253 km South of Hurghada airport, 40km South of Marsa Alam airport and 20 km North of Marsa Alam.

Unlimited House Reef Diving
On your first day, you will receive an orientation dive around the bay accompanied by one of our guides, but after that, if you wish, you are free to dive the house reef at your leisure, with a free RIB taxi service for drift diving! This is definitely one of the most enjoyable factors of NoTanx Holidays, as it is wonderful to have the freedom to dive in buddy pairs at your own pace and at the times you want to.

We have teamed up with Only One Apnea Centre to offer a week in the all inclusive Sharm Club Resort with unlimited diving on the house reef and 40m training ropes.

The Resort

Sharm Club is one of the most established resorts outside Naama Bay boasting a 700m beachfront. Sharm Club overlooks Tower diving site known for being exquisite diving site.

Originally advertised as a family holiday, our annual trips to Greece have transformed into an adventure diving tour of some of the most exquisite diving locations in the world.

Using Loutraki as a base (1hour outside Athens) we explore the untouched beaches on the peninsula, famed for their crystal clear waters. Every day we seek out secluded and hard to find locations that offer unique diving experiences.


Most afternoon sessions are in Herion Bay (a natural amphitheatre with a drop off from 10m to 130m) or the Vouliagmeni Lake (A sheltered saltwater lake, 20m deep and flat calm everyday) depending on whether and training.

Options

The itinerary is itemised daily, so that your experience can personalised, from a long weekend to a 2 week holiday of a lifetime. Within the area there are many other activities on offer, such as water skiing, wind surfing or tube rides ensuring days off from diving are not a let down.


The surrounding area is rich in culture, history and natural beauty from the Archaeological sites to the Monastery overlooking the mountains and Bay of Corinth.

Camping and freediving in the UK, what could be better?
The Freefest site boasts Clean toilets, meeting/breakfast tent and Natural Shower (stream).
Everyday 2 sites will be picked for a morning and afternoon dive... choose between Easy and Advanced diving and join in the fun.
(Some locations allow SpearFishing)

Activities planned every evening... e.g. BBQ, pool comp.

2011 we have Shark Freediving (with Blue sharks) and Dolphin Cruise as optional extras (please book in advance, limited places)
