The highlight of the NoTanx Calendar for 20 years.

This event is suitable for the whole family, with a variety of sites to suit all abilities.

2 guided dives a day in stunning locations, plus organised evening activities.

We often play with seals, dive from hidden beaches and freedive in caves as well as opportunities to sea kayak, forage for food and a nature tour by catamaran.

We have a list of more than 20 sites, most are extremely hard to find and rarely visited let alone dived; from beaches and caves to shipwrecks and swimthroughs.

We have a dedicated campsite “base camp”, complete with a marquee, sauna & chill out tent where we have the daily meeting and evening activities.

extreme location freediving

For the adventurous!

Caving Kefalonia

Part of our extreme location freediving trip series.

Extreme location freediving is not suited to everyone, but if you want to freedive where nobody has dived before - then this might be for you.

Based on land on the Ionian island of Kefalonia, we will abseil into huge open caves (similar to the Cenotes of Mexico) and freedive in the crystal clear waters underground. The itinerary changes depending on the group (Max 4 people).
Generally 2 activities per day, or 1 big trip underground.
The 4 skills requires to enter these locations are
1. Freediving
2. Darkwater (Freediving in total darkness requires specific safety protocols)
3. Caving (These caves are very large, no squeezy tunnels but experience is beneficial)
4. S.R.T. (Abseiling & climbing up a single rope using a harness & prusiks )
This is only suitable for confident freedivers and those ready to explore locations that not many people have seen before.
Darkwater & S.R.T. will be taught during the week.
